Job duration: Permanent position, Full time, Mon – Fri, 40 hours per week.

Job description: Compound, dispense prescribed medications for retail customers. Counsel patients on the selection of medications, surgical supplies and therapeutic shoes. Administer immunization vaccines. Analyze prescribing trends to monitor patient compliance and to prevent excessive usage or harmful interaction. Work on Medicare billing. Check prescriptions for accurate billing and handling audit requests from the insurance company using computerized database. Manage inventory of controlled substances and ensure proper use. Provide Medication Therapy Management (MTM) services to patient. Work on call & weekend to assist to fill prescriptions.

Education and Experience required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Science plus 2 years experience in job offered. Must have Pharmacist license issued by the State of New Jersey.
